The Budget

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs will make further announcements on the subject in due course, but the hon. Lady knows that in the Budget we referred to a number of different water sector schemes, such as the WaterSure scheme, which is designed to provide support to the lowest-income customers throughout the regulated water sector, and to the potential for social tariffs, as well as to the particular issue in the South West Water area, which has significantly higher bills than anywhere else in the country.
