The Budget
Further to that point, did my right hon. Friend note with surprise, as I did, that the Chief Secretary invoked another of the warnings that we have heard about the ratings agencies being on the verge of downgrading Britain, but failed to mention that only last week, in light of the Budget and the revelation that there will be no growth in the economy, Moody’s is saying again that there is a danger that we could be downgraded, in this instance as a result of that lack of growth?
