Proceeding contribution from Lord Spellar (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 3 May 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on Finance (No. 3) Bill.

Finance (No. 3) Bill

Does she not find it extraordinary that the coalition Government are proposing to subsidise fuel prices in some of their friends' constituencies, thereby increasing by default the duty on those in many of the urban constituencies that we represent?
