Finance (No. 3) Bill
On the argument that my hon. Friend has just made about whether or not people would leave as a result of such a tax, does he agree that we should support what J. K. Rowling said in 2010 about people who might leave this country because of taxation? She said:"““I cannot help feeling…that it would have been contemptible to scarper…at the first sniff of a seven-figure…cheque.””" Ought we not to support her on this?
