Education Bill
66: After Clause 8, insert the following new Clause— ““Minimum qualifications for teachers (1) To continue in practice or to take up new employment in a school, teachers must have— (a) a minimum of 50 hours of continual professional development each year, and (b) such minimum qualifications in child development and behaviour management as specified by the Secretary of State. (2) Schools have a duty to ensure that the necessary continual professional development is provided.””
