Proceeding contribution from Iain Duncan Smith (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 30 November 2011. It occurred during Opposition day on Living Standards.
Living Standards
The right hon. Gentleman is being generous, as ever, in giving way. May I remind him, however, that there is obviously a split between him and the shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury, because on yesterdays BBC programme ““The Daily Politics””, she was asked specifically:"““If you had been writing the autumn statement, borrowing would have been higher? Yes or no.””" Her answer was yes.
