Financial Services Bill
I agree with the hon. Gentleman's point about the market failure that we have seen in the pension and fund industry in the last decade or so, which is close to being a scandal. He is right that the Bill does not include a fiduciary duty, but it would give the FCA a competition requirement that, if applied properly, would stop the market failure and the non-transparent charges that are the core of the issue.
