Clause 2: Combination of polls at Scottish Parliamentary and other reserved elections, discussed with new clause 7: Timing of the Scottish Parliamentary general election, debated and agreed. Clause 3: Supplementary and transitional provision about elections agreed as amended. Clauses 4 and 5 agreed. Clause 6: Bills: statement as to legislative competence and Clause 7: Partial suspension of Acts subject to scrutiny of the Supreme Court debated and agreed. Clauses 8 to 10, and Schedule 1 agreed. Clause 11: Air weapons debated and agreed. Clause 12: Insolvency debated and agreed to on division (357 votes to 8). Schedule 2 agreed to. Clause 13: Regulation of the health professions debated and agreed to on division (340 votes to 8). Clauses 14-20 agreed to. Clause 21: Speed limits agreed to as amended. Clauses 22 and 23 agreed to. Progress reported. Committee to sit again tomorrow.
