European Committee A in respect of European Union Documents No. 12519/11 relating to a Commission Communication - Reform of the Common Fisheries Policy and No. 12514/11 and Addenda 1 to 3, relating to a draft regulation on the Common Fisheries Policy.Resolved that the Committee takes note of European Union Documents No. 12519/11 relating to a Commission Communication - Reform of the Common Fisheries Policy, and No. 12514/11 and Addenda 1 to 3, relating to a Draft Regulation on the Common Fisheries Policy; and supports the Government's view that fundamental reform of EU fisheries policy is required to deliver the legislative changes necessary to achieve healthy fish stocks, a prosperous fishing industry and a healthy marine environment.
