Oil fires in Kuwait - an update
POSTnote 21 described possible environmental consequences of Iraqi sabotage of Kuwaiti oil wells, before significant numbers of wells had been set on fire. Now the extent of destruction has become clearer, it is possible to narrow some of the uncertainties in the previous analyses.
