Civil Service: Greater Manchester

Question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, Manchester Digital Campus, for what reason is the Delivery Confidence Assessment Rating amber.

Answer

As set out in the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, the departmental commentary, explaining the Delivery Confidence Assessment rating for the Manchester Digital Campus, is being withheld to protect national security.

Generally across the portfolio, an Amber rating indicates that successful delivery appears feasible, but significant issues exist that require management attention. The Government Property Agency continues to closely monitor the project to ensure its successful delivery.
