Proceeding contribution from Ed Miliband (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 29 August 2013. It occurred during Debate on Syria and the Use of Chemical Weapons.
Syria and the Use of Chemical Weapons
I am saying to the hon. Gentleman and the House that over the coming period, we have to assess in a calm and measured way—not in a knee-jerk way, and not on a political timetable—the advantages
of potential action, whether such action can be taken on the basis of legitimacy and international law, and what the consequences would be.
