Racial Harassment

- To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many complaints of racial abuse relating to staff for which his Department is responsible have been (a) investigated and (b) upheld in the last 12 months.
- Answer

The procedures for investigating complaints of racial abuse have been initiated less than five times in the last 12 months, I am not able to give the precise numbers on the grounds of confidentiality.
