Railways: Intercity Trains

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether the diesel engines in the proposed Intercity Express Project trains will comply with Euro IIIb emissions limits.

Yes. If a decision is made go ahead with the IEP project, any diesel engines procured will need to comply with Euro IIIb emissions limits.
