Answer

Mrs. May: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the number, value and location of properties newly leased in each of the last five years by the Treasury, including and distinguishing between the Department itself, its next step agencies and its non-departmental public bodies, differentiating between purchases made as a result of the creation of new bodies and those purchases made by established bodies. [7808] Ruth Kelly: The table lists the number, value and location of properties newly leased in each of the last five years by the Treasury. The properties are listed by town for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. All properties are the responsibility of the Department itself and not next step agencies or non departmental public bodies. All entries in the table relate to purchases made by established bodies. _________________________________________________________________________________________________.
