Proceeding contribution from David Davis (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 28 June 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill on Identity Cards Bill.

Identity Cards Bill

I think that I should finish what I have to say. We must allow some other Members to speak at some point today. Why should people have to pay for the Prime Minister’s pet project? Will they have to pay to change their names when they get married? Will they have to pay again when they change their addresses?
