Proceeding contribution from Baroness Howarth of Breckland (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 12 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Children and Adoption Bill [HL].
Children and Adoption Bill [HL]
If judges tell us that they only read the first two pages and the last page of 50-page reports, then there is serious concern about the content. It is clear to some of our professional staff, who have been looking at this, that information can be presented better. Lawyers would know that. [Sitting suspended for a Division in the House from 7.17 to 7.27 pm.]
