Proceeding contribution from Lord Bach (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 28 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill on Commons Bill [HL].

Commons Bill [HL]

My Lords, I am getting up out of turn to say that the Government think that we may have a way through on this issue. Of course I do not want to stifle debate, and we have other important issues where there may not be any chance of such agreement. I mention that in case it is thought that somehow the Government are going to take one side or another.
