Proceeding contribution from Lord Hunt of Wirral (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 23 January 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Compensation Bill [HL].
Compensation Bill [HL]
The key, of course, is when we are going to see government amendments. We welcome the way in which the Government have accepted some of the amendments put forward by the noble Lord, Lord Goodhart, and myself, but the key is to see the government amendments. So, although the Minister may turn to the business managers and say it all depends on them, I think a bit of internal departmental management is about to happen.
