Proceeding contribution from Jenny Willott (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Monday, 30 January 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on Government of Wales Bill.

Government of Wales Bill

I am not satisfied by the Secretary of State’s response. For the Liberal Democrats, this is a matter of principle. We think it important that people get what they vote for, which is why I have no alternative but to divide the Committee. Question put, That the amendment be made:— The Committee divided: Ayes 46, Noes 428.
