Proceeding contribution from Lord Borrie (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 31 January 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Bill.

London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Bill

I hope that the amendment is not acceptable. It would be an astonishing piece of legislation if, for what are said to be,"““insufficient funds for a purpose””," which means any purpose, the Secretary of State must provide an open offer of financial assistance, according to the amendment.
