National Lottery Bill
had given notice of his intention to move Amendment No. 8:"Page 6, line 14, at end insert—" ““( ) such other persons as he thinks appropriate”” The right reverend Prelate said: I rise only to say that I am grateful to the Minister for his commitment to conduct openly and clearly any renegotiation, should these cases ever arise. I am also grateful to the noble Lord, Lord Clement-Jones, for his encouragement. At this stage I am happy not to press the amendment tabled in my name, but given the welcome it has received this evening, I am encouraged to bring it back. [Amendment No. 8 not moved.] [Amendment No. 9 not moved.] Clause 8 agreed to. Clause 9 [Investment income]: On Question, Whether Clause 9 shall stand part of the Bill?
