Proceeding contribution from Lord Davies of Oldham (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 13 March 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on National Lottery Bill.

National Lottery Bill

I hear what the noble Lord says but I do not have the benefit of testing what public support there might be for the charitable lottery fund. Therefore, given that we have established this name and it meets with broad approval, I venture to suggest that the case rests with the Government.
