Proceeding contribution from Lord Faulkner of Worcester (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 9 May 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Health Bill.
Health Bill
The Committee will have to make up its own mind. I hope the noble Lord will let me finish this point. I checked his entry on the Register, and his declaration of hospitality from the tobacco industry is in there. There is no issue about that. I was drawing attention to his assertion in Committee that he had declared that at Second Reading. I wanted to give him the opportunity to say that his assertion at the beginning of his Second Reading speech did not include that declaration. If he takes the view that maybe it was not necessary, I will of course accept that, but it is important that it be put on the record.
