I can verify that I was in the Chamber. If I did not listen with proper attention to the noble Lord, Lord Rosser, I apologise to him. But, again, simple courtesies in your Lordships’ House go a very long way. I saw the noble Lord, Lord Rosser, the other afternoon. We passed each other and nodded. If he had a complaint or an issue to raise, I would have been delighted to have stood up at the start of the Committee proceedings this afternoon and apologise to him. I am rather disappointed that a messenger boy was sent.
