Proceeding contribution from Lord Geddes (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 9 May 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Health Bill.
Health Bill
I am sorry, but I should like to pursue that, because that is not what the noble Lord, Lord Faulkner of Worcester, said. He said:"““If the House of Commons is given the opportunity for a free vote, manifesto commitments do not apply””—[Official Report, 20/4/06; col. GC 555.]" That is what the record states.
