Health Bill

The Minister has been very forthcoming, and I am grateful to him for providing the guidance. The Committee will want to reflect that while this Minister is being enormously co-operative and helpful this afternoon, that is no guarantee that in the next reshuffle, which is probably not that far away—apparently it will be within the next year, by which time the regulations may or may not be with us—the whole thing will not be changed yet again. We do not know what the reaction will be of whoever succeeds the Minister when he is promoted. Therefore, these safeguards, welcome as they are at this stage, are not cast in stone at all. We have had a good debate; the Minister has been helpful; and I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendments Nos. 28 to 32 not moved.] On Question, Whether Clause 5 shall stand part of the Bill?
