Proceeding contribution from Earl Peel (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 24 May 2006. It occurred during Committee proceeding and Debate on bill on Animal Welfare Bill.
Animal Welfare Bill
The noble Lord makes an important point. I can tell him categorically that all the major shooting organisations have investigated the burying of game and we can find no evidence to substantiate the claim. It is a rumour that has been circulated and the noble Lord made it an important point. However, I can assure him that to date the evidence does not exist.
