Armed Forces Bill

I apologise to the Minister for interrupting him. I misheard him and thought that he was speaking to Amendment No. 36. I am grateful to the noble Lord, Lord Garden, for supporting our amendments. The Minister has given a full answer to them and there is much to digest. He said that he would go away and think about some of these issues. The noble Lord, Lord Garden, said that there could be some redrafting. We will read Hansard carefully and, in the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendments Nos. 38 and 39 not moved.] Clause 18 agreed to. [Amendment No. 40 not moved.] Clause 19 agreed to. [Amendment No. 41 not moved.] Clause 20 [Unfitness or misconduct through alcohol or drugs]:
