Proceeding contribution from Rob Marris (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 23 October 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Bill (HL).

Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Bill [Lords]

I apologise to you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, and to the House for not being in the Chamber at the beginning of the debate on this group. I particularly wanted to discuss amendment No. 201, which is the controversial one. I have to tell the hon. Member for East Worthing and Shoreham (Tim Loughton) that he has been had in the Chamber—by me. Of course, I know how to pronounce Kazakhstan. When, during my earlier intervention, I indicated that I might not, the hon. Gentleman immediately said that I ought to know how to pronounce it.
