Iraq and the wider Middle East
I thank the Foreign Secretary. On 25 October last year, at Prime Minister’s questions, the Prime Minister told us that he would be"““happy to debate Iraq at any time.””—[Official Report, 25 October 2006; Vol. 450, c. 1515.]" Why should we believe him now that he says that he will debate it at some point in the future? Why was he so anxious to talk us into this disastrous war, but so reluctant to explain how we will get out of it?
