Proceeding contribution from Lord Coaker (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 22 October 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Serious Crime Bill [Lords].
Serious Crime Bill [Lords]
The hon. Gentleman made a reasonable point about the application of new clause 1(6) to the new clause, but then made the wild assertion that it would apply to the serious crime prevention orders as a whole. If he reads further, he will see that it is limited to the new clause, and does not apply to the whole Bill.
