Perhaps I will have an opportunity to deal with that point later. The hon. Gentleman has implicitly criticised Mr. Sandler's comments about the length of time it could take for the bank to remain in public ownership. Does he believe that a brief period of public ownership—days, weeks or months—would be in the taxpayer's interests?
