Proceeding contribution from Lord Hanningfield (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 26 June 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Crossrail Bill.

Crossrail Bill

We have had an interesting discussion on this issue. I do not think that we have solved it and discussions will continue. Unfortunately, Report and Third Reading will happen rapidly before the Recess and I doubt whether negotiations will come to fruition before then. There is probably no point in pursuing this further today, but perhaps the Minister might know more about where negotiations are by the time we get to Report or Third Reading. With that, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 1 agreed to. Schedule 1 agreed to. Clause 2 agreed to. Schedule 2 agreed to. Clause 3 agreed to. Schedule 3 agreed to. Clause 4 agreed to. Schedule 4 agreed to. Clause 5 agreed to. Schedule 5 agreed to. Clause 6 agreed to. Schedule 6 agreed to. Clauses 7 to 10 agreed to. Schedule 7 agreed to. Clauses 11 to 15 agreed to. Schedule 8 agreed to. Clause 16 agreed to. Schedule 9 agreed to. Clause 17 agreed to. Schedule 10 agreed to. Clauses 18 and 19 agreed to. Clause 20 [Control of construction sites: appeals]:
