Proceeding contribution from Mark Fisher (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 2 July 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Finance Bill.
Finance Bill
I will not give way. We have had a very good debate, and I am sure that other people want to get in. The people of this country, on whose behalf we are speaking, see this tax as retrospective and unfair, and the Government have to come back later this year and put this right.
