Pensions Bill

I acknowledge the issue that my noble friend has raised concerning vulnerable survivors. The best way in which to help people make the right choice is to ensure that they have access to clear and appropriate information. My noble friend will be aware that we are working to facilitate and encourage improvements to the information on annuity choice so that people have the information they need. In particular we are working with the Pensions Advisory Service, supporting it on the development of its web tool to provide people with information about choosing an annuity.
