Proceeding contribution from Baroness Hamwee (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Monday, 6 October 2008. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Planning Bill.

Planning Bill

The fact that Amendments Nos. 11 and 15 do not constitute new provisions does not mean to say that I think those provisions were necessarily right in the first place. The GLA is sui generis. I do not want to draw on experience there, particularly not as regards departing staff and compensation packages. Therefore, I shall not go there. I hear what the noble Baroness has to say. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
