Proceeding contribution from Lord Campbell-Savours (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 28 October 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Energy Bill.

Energy Bill

My Lords, I thank my noble friend for his interesting response, which will be greatly welcomed in the House of Commons, as it will be here. It has been a pleasure to work in part with the noble Baroness, Lady Wilcox, and the noble Lord, Lord Teverson, along with the Minister on this issue; there seems to be unanimity on the need to proceed. On that basis, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendment No. 28 not moved.]
