Proceeding contribution from Lord Puttnam (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 28 October 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Energy Bill.

Energy Bill

My Lords, I thank the Minister. I not only accept what he said, but I wish to add that his department has been extraordinarily courteous and has gone to a lot of trouble in reaching the point that we have managed to agree. I am grateful for that. My dearest hope is that I will never have to stand up and say, ““I told you so””. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
