Proceeding contribution from Tom Harris (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 11 November 2008. It occurred during Debate on Heathrow.

Heathrow

If the hon. Gentleman does not mind, I shall try to make progress. Can we please, however, separate the argument for high-speed rail from the arguments for the third runway? No one believes the Conservative claim that a high-speed rail network will have any noticeable effect whatever on capacity at Heathrow.
