Climate Change Bill [Lords]
I wonder whether the hon. Gentleman's remarks should be addressed in some way—perhaps they are—to the Climate Change Committee, which will be protective of its independence. If it is to do its job seriously, he should not worry too much. Perhaps we will know the answer to the questions posed on 1 December. I ask him whether this debate is the right place to over-egg the pudding, or does he not have confidence in the Climate Change Committee?
