Banking Bill

I draw the Minister's attention to what the Delegated Powers and Regulatory Reform Committee report states on Clause 75. It states: "““We make no recommendation in relation to clause 75, but we draw it to the attention of the House, so that it might satisfy itself that the rather unusual context for which Part 1 of this Bill makes provision justifies the extremely wide power taken by the clause””." The committee is inviting the House to consider the matter carefully.
