Banking Bill
Clause 90(8) makes it clear that the use of the word ““fair”” in this part of the Bill is justified, "““as a shorter modern equivalent of the expression ‘just and equitable’””." We do not intend to exclude the application of any judicial or other practice related to the construction or application of the expression.
