Proceeding contribution from Earl Howe (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 5 March 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Health Bill [HL].

Health Bill [HL]

I am grateful to my noble friend. It is not just me who is saying this; the Norwegian Ministry of Health commented on the Icelandic data showing a reduction in overall smoking prevalence. It said: ""There are no indications to prove that this reduction is a result of the ban more than other tobacco preventive measures introduced at the same time"."
