Welfare Reform Bill

I agree that if somebody has a job offer and real job opportunities, that is one thing. However, many people face a great deal of prejudice in trying to get employment, particularly those with mental health problems. I am very much opposed to any compulsion for that group, because it is likely to be counterproductive. On the two-year period, we do not know what will happen in two years' time and how difficult it will be when we have high unemployment.
