Proceeding contribution from Andrew Dismore (Labour) in the House of Commons on Friday, 20 March 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Fuel Poverty Bill.
Fuel Poverty Bill
Obviously, I share my hon. Friend's concerns about fuel poverty and I am glad to see him in his place today. I had hoped that these are matters that could be resolved in Committee. However, I put the point to the hon. Gentleman earlier, but he was adamant that he wanted to see the absolute duty in the Bill. Therefore the inference must be that he would not be prepared to make concessions on the matter in Committee.
