Proceeding contribution from Simon Hughes (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Friday, 20 March 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Fuel Poverty Bill.

Fuel Poverty Bill

No, I will not. I hope that today we will have the conviction to give the Bill a Second Reading and send it into Committee. I am sure that our constituents will want that to happen. I hope that the Bill will receive positive encouragement from the Minister so that it can move to its next stage, and my hon. Friend's aspirations can be fulfilled this very afternoon.
