Proceeding contribution from Lord Bruce of Bennachie (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Monday, 30 March 2009. It occurred during Debate on Africa.

My question follows on from that. The president of the World Bank, Bob Zoellick, will be in London this week. What pressure will be brought to bear in order that the World Bank becomes much more representative, not just of the donors but of the recipient countries? I know that the Secretary of State for International Development has called for that, but what prospect does the right hon. Gentleman think we have of achieving such reform?
