Proceeding contribution from Bernard Jenkin (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 4 June 2009. It occurred during Debate on Defence in the World.
Defence in the World
Traditionally, in the past few decades, we have conducted such debates in peacetime. We are now debating a war, and it is absurd that we include it in a general debate about defence policy. It does not make sense.
