Proceeding contribution from David Lepper (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 2 November 2009. It occurred during Debate on Antisocial Behaviour.
Antisocial Behaviour
I apologise to my right hon. Friend for missing the first part of his speech, but I was serving on a Statutory Instrument Committee with the Under-Secretary, my hon. Friend the Member for Tynemouth. My right hon. Friend talked about community activity. Does he recognise the important role that local action teams play at the neighbourhood level in bringing together local residents, their councillors, representatives of the council and the police to pinpoint where the problems are and to find solutions to deal with them?
